ID Requirements

Trainees must present a valid form of ID.
Each Trainee must present a valid U.S. Driver’s License with photo OR valid U.S. State or Federal-Issued Non-Driver Identification Card with Photo OR a valid U.S. Passport with photo for identification verification purposes. The trainee may be asked to present a US Social Security card as well.

ARSC Transfer

A $12 fee will be charged to transfer ARSC courses from
another council to the SCTMC Badge (code 06ARSCXFR)

Basic Orientation PlusTM (BOP)

All trainees taking Basic Orientation PlusTM (BOP) must arrive at 7:00 A.M.

Trainees must present a valid form of ID.

Dress-Code

Trainees are expected to wear work-appropriate clothing. Those wearing revealing, odorous or inappropriate clothing will be asked to leave and return appropriately dressed.

Special Accommodations

Special Accommodations:
Should any trainee require special accommodations due to disability or medical reasons, please contact Customer Service via email @ customerservice@cscportlavaca.org at least 24 hours in advance of the trainee’s scheduled training and provide information on the nature of the accommodation. You will be asked to provide a document from a physician via email declaring the necessity of an accommodation. Customer Service will verify the necessity of the accommodation with the physician prior to allowing you to register the trainee for training. Customer Service will notify you via email once the accommodation is verified and arrangements made for the accommodation. Should we be unable to accommodate the trainee, we will provide you notice the same day.

Effective March 10, 2021, trainees will not be required to socially distance or wear a mask while in the SCTMC facility. SCTMC reserves the right to ask persons who appear to be ill to have their temperature taken by a touchless device. Any person with a temperature at or exceeding 100.4 degrees will be asked to leave the facility immediately. If you would like to request special accommodations, you must email customer service @ customerservice@cscportlavaca.org to set up a training appointment. All persons are strongly encouraged to take the proper precautions to protect the health and welfare of themselves and those around them.
